How to use this site (organization)
Ready 2 Serve Omaha is easy to use. Nonprofit organizations can use this site to connect with potential volunteers to serve on their board, committees or councils. Using this site is as easy as one-two-three!
- Register your organization on Ready 2 Serve Omaha. Your organization can have multiple users representing different program areas. Each registration will be reviewed for approval.
- Once approved, you can begin to post leadership volunteer positions and to search for potential volunteers. Remember this is for leadership positions in your organization. It would not be appropriate to post positions for "hands on" projects, but it would be appropriate to post for committees, councils, advisory boards and your board of directors.
- Begin searching for potential candidates for your organization. You will be able make your search as broad or narrow as you would like.
Ready 2 Serve Omaha is provided to you free of charge. You will not be charged for posting positions or for searching for potential volunteers. Please encourage use across your organization.
Remember that individuals registered on Ready 2 Serve Omaha come with a variety of backgrounds, skills and experiences. At times you will be looking for someone with very specific skills. Other times you can use this as an opportunity to recruit volunteers who can grow through service with your organization.
